M. attenuata (Say) 1826
easy one. Liljblad describes this one as 5,4,1 for the ridges, but "all very small, and usually uneven" (which is good 'cause I can't see them well at all on this one - no fault of image).
Head rufous, pronotum marked as shown here for males, females all black (see LeConte's type under M. vittagera). Legs anterior rufous, rear nearly black (male, as here), female fuscous. Underside black with golden pubescense. Vitta as shown here.

As Liljeblad states "a rather pretty insect", and a new species for BugGuide :)
