"Nothing else has that exact and peculiar pronotum."
So, believe it or not, Molly -- this is a new genus for the guide, standing alphabetically ahead of 50 other lepturine genera already in the guide...
having something new in that dept. from the northeast is quite a feat, i'll tell ya! thanks -- and try to find more and take sharper pix of them. =v=
