Not a darner, but a skimmer.
Not a darner, but a skimmer. Looks like young male Needham's Skimmer (Libellula needhami) but a better view of the thorax would help to confirm. The date is off in your posting. You can edit the submission to correct.

I agree
The dark inner half of the costa plus the brown legs should be enough to confirm as Libellula needhami.
