Horned Spanworm - Nematocampa resistaria - Female
Town of Baileys Harbor, Hidden Corners Sanctuary, Door County, Wisconsin, USA
August 27, 2003
Adult came to night light.

Amazing variability

The old "double standard"
Yours has the colouring of a drab male; the other is the bright female.

Thanks, add info to guide?
Could you mention the dimorphism in the guide? This is not mentioned in Covell.
