Do you have any shots that show the third leg ornamentation clearly from the front? This is often useful in identification of the males. This is definitely in the
viridipes
group, but I don't know what this is.
H. calcaratus agricola
isn't known from New Mexico and the third leg looks wrong for that.
H. jucundus
is northwestern and also has a third leg ornamentation unlike this. Someone should show this to Marshal Hedin or Wayne Maddison. It could be something interesting.

Nice Habronattus!
These males are beautiful! Looks pretty similar to some images of Habronattus calcaratus maddisoni in the guide - but the markings are considerably lighter.

Do you think this should move to Genus Habronattus until we can get a positive id? I believe I have seen Habronattus calcaratus maddisoni here, I call them robbers because they look like they have a bandit mask on. This one did not have the dark markings around the head though.
Also this one is a male? How can you tell on jumpers? Thanks so much for all your help!
