Diaditus tejanus
Giacchi, adult male. We're finding out this species is much more widely distributed than previously thought.
D. pictipes
has only been reported from Texas. Blinn (2009) recently reported a species near
D. semicolon
from Florida and Maryland but these individuals are likely adventive.
Additionally, this is a new state record for this insect and I would be very interested in acquiring some specimens to voucher in the museum if at all possible. They can be fairly common at outdoor lights at night during the summer and fall.
