I was almost positive I found this caterpillar on a grape vine so I collected some leaves for it to eat. Found another caterpillar later on a cherry and placed it in the container with this caterpillar. This caterpillar then started chowing down on the cherry leaves and ignored the grape leaves. It's been very rainy here so the springtails show up on many of my photos. Decided to leave these in the photo for perspective.

Not Lepidoptera,
but rather sawfly larva, and if you know it eats Cherry, that's a great plus in gaining an ID

sawfly larva
Hope I'm successful in raising it to maturity. This should develop into a good-sized sawfly since the caterpiller is really large.
