Stink Bug nymph - Apoecilus - Apoecilus

Stink Bug nymph - Apoecilus - Apoecilus
near to Pin Oak, Hampshire County, West Virginia, USA

Stink Bug nymph - Apoecilus

the caterpillar had been feeding on a Hosta leaf
found by a colorful predator, it's proboscis is quite wide.
I went back to the plant an hour later and it had moved it's proboscis further down the caterpillar.
