Size: 8mm measured
There were two of these tonight (first ones I've observed this year). This is the larger of the two, the other one was measured at 7mm. Habitat is mostly hardwoods (oak, hickory, dogwood etc)next to a small stream with lake less than 50 yards distant. This photo clearly shows the head fully extended.
