Eumorpha achemon

Eumorpha achemon
Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
June 20, 2010
Size: Largest ~3 inches
Multiple individuals on our grapevine in the front yard. Smallest was about 1.5 inches; largest was about 3 inches long. Am guessing it's a moth, but can't find a good ID in the guide.

Thanks!
I had just tentatively sleuthed it out, so thank you for the confirmation!
