Hey Rich, Been awhile.This is
Hey Rich, Been awhile.This is one of the "cork headed" carpenter ants. Depending on who you listen to they are either Camponotus subgenus Colobopsis or genus Colobopsis. Can't give you a species for sure at this point. I would be inclined to say they are C. obliquus though.
