Host plant?
It looks like the one I found on oak.
Mine was sharing the leaves with some sawfly larvae which kept disappearing. I wonder if this caterpillar ate some of the larvae; Lithohane are known to be carnivorous.
Are you raising this one by any chance? Unfortunately I lost mine so I will never see the adult and it would be most interesting to confirm the ID.

I'll try to rear it, and if I get lucky, we might find out what it is.
