Primarily found at Resaca de la Palma State Park, Laguna Atascosa, Bentsen-Rio Grande State Park, and the NABA Butterfly Park; also seen on roadsides and in campsites and airports.

Season

June 3 to June 8, 2010.

Food

Primarily granola bars, bananas, apples, and anything else that would fit in the pocket of a backpack. Also carnivorous and oophagous when near a source of refrigeration; migratory females require Twizzlers.

Remarks

Seldom photographed, due to cameras being primarily directed at insects and arachnids.
