Diceroprocta sp.
This cicada lacks the smoky "Z" seen towards the tip of the wing a character seen in Tibicen sp. (pallid in marginalis, but present)
Although several Diceroprocta species may also have the "Z" many do not. Given the overall appearance of this cicada, I'm confident it is a Diceroprocta, but I'm not sure which one - esp. from these angles.

Diceroprocta
You can find pictures of a variety of southwestern species on http://www.bugs.nau.edu/Homoptera/azhomoptera_cicadidae.html
... but not this one! It is closest to D. cinctifera, especially in the pale underside, but the pattern of abdominal markings on the upper side is different.

Thanks....It doesn't match anything in my collection either
Dr. Hamilton,
I agree, these images do not seem to match any of the species in the Arizona on-line ref. collection or species with which I'm familiar. I think this Genus in particular needs revision & suspect there may be a few undescribed varieties and/or taxa across the southwest.

which angles
Which angles would you need? I took about 40 shots so I might have what you are looking for. I will add another image and see if it helps.

Dorsal? ... "~Perfect Lateral"?
Diceroprocta species can be more difficult than Tibicen. The literature is a bit of a booger, fewer pic's and less "reliable" reference material available.
