Identification
Species are keyed by Heinrich (1961).(1)
Remarks
Wahl 1999 treated Thyrateles as a synonoym of Ichneumon, but this synonymy has apparently not been formally published and/or the synonymy was not recognized in the catalog by Horstmann and Yu, as Yu cites it as a valid genus on Taxapad.
