Size: small - about inch across
I know (or guess) that this is some sort of hairstreak butterfly, but looking through the various photos on this website, I couldn't seem to find any with a wing pattern that quite matches. (Most show at least some orange, which is missing here.) Help a novice butterly-identifier out?

never mind...
This was identified by a commenter on my blog as not being a hairstreak at all, but a Spring Azure. Sigh. I'm obviously still learning.
