Another ciid sp. ? - Cis

Size: 2.1 mm
Here is the top side of the tree fungus that these beetles came from. The fruiting bodies were growing on the inside of the moist, hollow tree -- something I had never seen before. You can see evidence of insect activity where something has been eating the fungus -- ciids no doubt.
