I have not seen many of this kind of unique wasp that reminds me of a Sand Wasp with it's green eyes . Thanks for any comments , sincerely Beth

Looks a lot like my Tachytes , but I'm no expert.
Mine was solo amid a group of green-eyed bees that were looking for burrowing bees to parasitize. In my case, the wasp was fairly easy to shoot, plunking down on the asphalt trail from time to time, though not staying put very long. I have no idea why the wasp was on the scene.
