Size: 2 cm
A dense pubescence produces the white and gold of the dorsal surface of elytra, thorax, pronotum, antennae and legs. The individual resembles Monochamus scutellatus, but it was collected at light facing a courtyard garden in Center City, Philadelphia. The only conifers cultivated in the neighborhood are a solitary Tsuga canadensis and Metasequoia.
