Ciids compared - Cis

Ciids compared - Cis
Hollis, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
January 27, 2006
Size: 2.6 mm
In re-examining the tree fungus I found inside the hollow tree I found a long-dead specimen of what appears to be Octo*temnus lae*vis, the first ciid species I found and posted. Alongside this new larger species it dramatically demonstrates their difference in size and appearance.
