Leptogaster

Leptogaster
Dixie Ave., DNR land west of Hwy 22, Marquette County, Wisconsin, USA
June 27, 2010
Size: 7-8 mm
I finally got some more photos of this species; whatever it is. It held its prey in its back legs and then swung sideways to the grass while hanging on with only one leg. I have photos of three different views of it holding on and eating the prey. I have now seen this species in four different counties.

Superb shots
The only Wisconsin Leptogastrinae I cannot account for is L. incisuralis. This is a female. I am at work, papers at home, will recheck.

Still
Think is it incisuralis. Would love a male in the mail.
