Panoquina ocola - Asbolis capucinus

Panoquina ocola - Asbolis capucinus
Naples (Golden Gate Estates), Collier County, Florida, USA
June 1, 2005
Size: Approx. 2.25 cm
This nondescript little skipper is feeding on our verbena flowers.

I wish I had more information to give, but alas...

Moved
Moved from Ocola Skipper.

The unmarked wings
suggest an Ocala Skipper. The other, extreme possibility because of size, is a Monk Skipper. But these are huge. They have a white fringe on the HW especially at the lower corner. I see white on your specimen but this may be part of the flower.
