Spider wasp? - Anoplius

Spider wasp? - Anoplius
Columbia, Lexington County, South Carolina, USA
June 30, 2010
Size: approx.15mm
Black wasp or bee-like insect with orange bands on abdomen. I have lots of these in my flower garden. They are extremely difficult to photograph because they are in constant motion. When they're not flying, they are constantly scooting around and flicking their wings. I *thought* this looked like a spider wasp I saw on the guide. I would appreciate an ID as close to species as possible. Thank you!
