Lunate Zale, form Edusa - Zale lunata

Lunate Zale, form Edusa - Zale lunata
Parkwood, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
June 10, 2003
Came to a light. This species also comes to moth bait. Thanks to Troy for mentioning the name for the "form" shown here.

Form edusa
Looking at Covell (1), this appears to be the "edusa" form with the lighter patches at the tips of the wings.

Neat, other photos TBA
I have a couple of other photos of this species. I had noted the variability in these. I'll have to scan the slides, and find the digitals.
