This caterpillar was found on a peony leaf and quickly slunk away when disturbed. Any help in identifying would be appreciated.

the Fall Webworm
Looks like a Fall Webworm (Hyphantria cunea) there seems to be a picture of this type on the site. Fall Webworms are pests and do some serious damage to trees. I believe they can be found in other colors as well. -Breheim
