bronze chrysomelid - Rhabdopterus
Harms Woods Forest Preserve, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
July 1, 2010
Size: ~5mm
Reminded us of the small black one we posted the other day that was id'd as Paria but this was larger and bronze. He was on Eupatorium purpureum but there was plenty of Polygonum nearby.

but the spp. are 'genital' and i'm in no position to tell
