This was one of the most difficult insects to photograph on yesterday's hike. It was extremely small and never was still.

This genus seems to contain several really difficult-to-distinguish species in what is called L. muscorum. We'll call it that for now...

Not wasp.
Reasonably certain this is an alate (winged) ant of some sort.
