Lesser Maple Spanworm Moth -
Macaria pustularia
-
Albany, Albany County, New York, USA
July 2, 2010
Size: approx 20mm
Small white 'butterfly' seen early evening on (not feeding on) a large flower petal. It stayed there for some time. Back of wings appeared plain white as far as I could see.
