Trogini Foerster, 1868
Trogina Foerster, 1868
Callajoppini Heinrich, 1962
Callajoppina Heinrich, 1962

Represented as an informal genus group to eliminate paraphyly in the Heresiarchini, with Trogini suppressed by Sime & Wahl (2002); Neamblyjoppa placed as a junior synonym of Catadelphops(1)

Later alternatively represented with restored subtribal status by Tereshkin (2009)(2)

The Trogus + (Tashtego + Macrojoppa) lineage was demonstrated to rest significantly outside of the Saranaca + [(Gnamptopelta + Conocalama) + (Dothenia + Charmedia)] lineage by Santos et al. (2021), so the "Trogus Subgroup" can no longer be included.(3)
24 spp. in 6 genera in our area:(4)
1. Catadelphops Heinrich, 1962 (2 spp.)
2. Catadelphus Wesmael, 1854 (4 spp.)
3. Conocalama Hopper, 1939 (12 spp.)
4. Gnamptopelta Hopper, 1939 ( 1 sp.)
5. Saranaca Wahl & Sime, 2002 (4 spp.)(1)
6. Tmetogaster Hopper, 1939 (1 sp.)

Callajoppa Cameron, 1903: 2 questionable records by Gibson exist for C. cirrogaster cirrogaster; these have later been suggested by Townes et al. (1965) to be most likely misidentified.
