Unidentified Insect - Leptopterna dolabrata

Unidentified Insect - Leptopterna dolabrata
Northern, Michigan, USA
June 9, 2004
partially hidden by leaf (or egg sac?) Very small, 1/4 " long at most.

Nymph of Hemipteran
Looks like the nymph of a Hemipteran. You can even make out the wing pads, so it will be an adult shortly. My guess is some species in the family Miridae, the "plant bugs." Adding it to Leptopterna dolobrata, the "meadow plant bug" guide page.
