Tiny laemophloeids - Placonotus zimmermanni

Size: 2 mm
I put the three tiny laemophloeids in my light arena for a photo shoot.

What feature makes this beetle instantly recognizeable as a laemophloeid? It's the raised lines that run parallel with the sides of the pronotum.
