Yes, Ron,
this is a female P. edwardsii. Your other three images are also edwardsii, a female most likely picking up sand for building its nest cells.
There must be some Yerba Santa in flower, or even some late blooming Phacelia nearby. Look for those, and perhaps you'll manage some foraging shots.
