Spilomyia? - Spilomyia longicornis

Spilomyia? - Spilomyia longicornis
Powell Gardens, near Kansas City, Johnson County, Missouri, USA
July 7, 2010
Most convincing wasp mimic that I've ever dealt with. I could tell it was a dipteran and all, but the resemblance to Vespula species was striking. Any chance to ID this to species? I have a couple of other shots if they could help.
