Bumbles on milkweed - Bombus griseocollis - Pacific (Franklin Co.), Franklin County, Missouri, USA July 5, 2010 Size: 20-23 mm
I think these are Bombus griseicollis.
Can someone explain why I see so many males in July, when there don't seem to be any gynes of the year around?
