Brownish Damsel
This could be Argia nahuana (Aztec Dancer), but it is by no means typical. The markings on the abdomen are not extensive enough, and the thoracic stripe is not forked. However, I can't assign it to any other species that occurs in that part of Texas or nearby. For some female Argia, a good look at the mesostigmal plates allows definitive ID. A photo that allows a really good look at structures such as these is priceless!

I'd call it Argia nahuana
Although the wings aren't sharp, some of the major veins near the leading edge of the wings are clearly golden brown unlike the rest of the veins (as opposed to all the veins being more uniform in color). When that character is visible, it seems to be a pretty good indicator for Argia nahuana and that's what I'd call it.

Looks to be a female Argia
