Oops, well something for the bottle. Looks rather like Araneus cingulatus on initial inspection.

The other one we were thinking of is A. nashoba
We always struggle trying to figure out how that is different from cingulatus. We have probably read those descriptions twenty times. Someday we'll figure it out.
