Size: 2 mm
This tiny almost transparent Lachesillid is found on dead palm leaves where it obviously camouflages well. The male is characterized by a reddish brown thorn like tip of the epiproct and the long outward curving parameres that are blunt tipped.

I am but the grasshopper. Mockford identified this one based on my photos and descriptions from my clumsy attempts at dissection. The accomplishments of taxonomists like Mockford are, in my opinion, truely heroic.
