Small gray fly - Leucopis

Size: ~ 3 mm
This small gray-silver fly was perched on a live oak leaf. Only got this one photo and was not able to collect it. Looks vaguely muscoid? Probably frass, but wanted to make sure it wasn't something unusual first...

Leucopis
Yes, this is a species of Leucopis (family Chamaemyiidae).
