A. californica in silken retreat in curled leaf - Anyphaena californica - Female

Size: 5-6 mm
I found this adult female anyphaenid in a curled leaf stuck on a tree trunk. The spider is covered with silk. I thought at first it might be a clubionid, but the epigynum and other features are a perfect match to this species, which I've collected several times before.
