Diptera of some kind - Ululodes macleayanus - Female
Lovelady, Houston County, Texas, USA

Size: 5cm including antennae
I could only see two wings, so I assume that this is a diptera. But I have yet to see anything like it. The second image is actually not the same specimen, but a companion. The wind was moving the grass, so these are the clearest images I could get.
