E u s c h i s t u s
would be nice, too) and fill it accordingly, leaving Adults Only :-] -- helps a lot while IDing [i'll delete this comment later. =v=]

discuss in forum
That is a good idea, but we generally have not done separate nodes for immature stages at the genus level. It would have to be a "no-taxon" node, which some people don't like to see. I think it is probably a good idea, but could you post a note in the "web site problems and suggestions" forum? I'd like to see what others think before creating a new level of complexity here.
Incidentally, I much appreciate your efforts on ID's.

Hmmmm...
may not be needed. As most of the adults get sorted out all that is left are sub-adults at genus level. Any adults that are unidentifiable below genus may just be frass (IMHO).

Hey, all's well
This is exactly the sort of discussion that should be done in comments, so there is no need to be chagrined about it--we used to have comments enabled on guide pages, which did serve a purpose.
And it is really not "red tape", though I know you meant no harm by that--it is just a matter of consulting other members of the community and making them aware of a change in policy or practice.
Again, thanks v belov, for all your ID work.
