Aphid Colony - Lipaphis pseudobrassicae

Aphid Colony - Lipaphis pseudobrassicae
Great Falls, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
July 8, 2010
I don't think I've seen this particular kind of aphid before, all segmenty-looking. They were under attack by orange gall midge larvae, and also had lacewing eggs laid on their plant, readying to launch their voracious contents. A few aphids had wings.
