Privet Leafhopper (teneral?) - Fieberiella florii

Privet Leafhopper (teneral?) - Fieberiella florii
Atco, Camden County, New Jersey, USA
July 13, 2010

Adult
It has wings, therefore it is mature or adult. Immature refers to the previous instars, nymphs, without wings. Perhaps you meant recently emerged or teneral.
Nice photo by the way. Oh! and your English isn't that bad, it is just that there is a lot of terminology to learn.

Thank you!
Thank you for your correction! So, can I use "teneral"?

Maybe
Is this in fact a recently molted adult or just a color variation? I don't know enough about this species to answer that question. If you do I can add the info to the guide.
