Thank you!
Thank you so much for the ID!
Greatly appreciated.

Text
Is the text (size) something added by your camera/microscope or are you adding that in your photo processing? BugGuide guidelines request "Please do not include any other text or markup in the image." If possible please just put the size in the size field.

Really??
Didn't know that about the no text part...
However, it's required for my project as it is a protocol I must follow for the pictures....
Is it important??

Info
Just to clarify: your images are spectacular, post more in any way, they are great contributions.
We have a general rule "Please do not include any other text or markup in the image" that protects us against people writing "Monarch" on an image of a "Viceroy" (it happens). We also want to make sure that the info which is added is accurate and correct. From the quality of your images I believe that yours is. We have had people adding size bars in the past which were their "guesses" and not accurate, they just drew a line with photoshop showing how big they thought it was. So assuming these are accurate and not manufactured guesses, they do add value to the guide and should be allowed and probably included. We may start a forum discussion that will change or clarify the guidelines so that we can include valuable text without having to "look the other way", but still be able to discourage detracting or misleading additions.

I see!
Ah-ha, I see.
Yes, the marks on my pictures were all calibrated by the professional who usually works with the gears, so I believe they are accurate.

Thank you for the words!
