Braconid - female

Braconid - Female
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
July 12, 2010
Size: 3.8mm
Attracted to porch light.

Moved
Moved from Macrocentrinae.

Temples are rather broad for Macrocentrinae. This is probably Charmon extensor, but it's hard to see the venation of the wing against the venation of the leaf.

The wing veins can be seen a little better in the larger image file I just posted. Hope that helps.

Moved from Braconid Wasps.
Thanks Ross. Hopefully someone may know more about this wasp.

Macrocentrinae…
Does not appear to be Macrocentrus - likely another genus in this group.

See reference here.
