Three-banded Lady Beetle larva - Coccinella trifasciata

Three-banded Lady Beetle larva - Coccinella trifasciata
Dixville, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
July 13, 2010
Size: 8mm

Moved
Moved from Lady Beetles.
Thanks Abigail. I thought this one looked different than other lady beetle larvae I've seen before.

Coccinella trifasciata perplexa
Great find! This is the species in Coccinella with the palest larvae - out West, C. t. subversa is even paler than this subspecies. I was initially thinking it could be C. novemnotata but there aren't enough dark areas on the abdominal segments, particularly segment A4.
