Soybean Looper? - Autographa bimaculata

Soybean Looper? - Autographa bimaculata
Petit Manan NWR, Maine, USA
July 14, 2010
Size: Around 1"
Seems to fit the SB. Loopers I've seen here in the Guide.
Please clarify.

Moved from Plusiinae.

A much "better" moth... The soybean looper is a very common species found across much of the continent. This photo is of a two-spotted looper, a much less common moth found primarily in boreal forests in Canada and the northern US. Very nice find!
