Bee?Fly? - Taeniaptera trivittata

Bee?Fly? - Taeniaptera trivittata
Clarksville TN, Montgomery County, Tennessee, USA
July 16, 2010
Size: smaller than 1/2 inch
This Bug was So Interesting to me. It looked like an ant, Acted like a Bee and In The view Finder Looked more like a fly, I found this in Our River Bottom wetland, but in a dried part .Same size as a mound ant .
The Front part of its front legs had white tips, and the abdomen may have either a stinger or male organs. Also The wings apeared to be barred. It Looks as though there are black bars on the wings.

Moved from ID Request.

I think it is the wasp mimic fly Taeniaptera trivittata. We have an expert on the family who checks from time to time and will correct if I am wrong.
