Map

Could somone, in detail, explain where to find starbellied spiders or even post up a map where they can be found?

You can get a map
from the BugGuide guide pages by going to the starbellied orb weaver and clicking on the DATA tab. Here is what you will see. It will tell you where and when the images that are posted in BugGuide have been taken. That will at least be a start. More details can undoubtedly be found in the Images there.

and
the Spiders of the Eastern United States gives the range as from New England and Canada, south to Florida and west to Kansas and Arizona. Found in sunny areas usually within four feet of the ground.
