Larvae feed on False Boneset, Brickellia (Kuhnia) eupatorioides, Joe-Pye Weed, Eupatorium fistulosum.

Schinia oleagina has the PM line more curved or "S" shaped.
Schinia grandimedia, the Boneset Flower Moth is very similar. (check the range) Lacks the light shading, along the costal edge, from the base to the AM line.
